It's like we can see the letters here because the black contrasts with the background colour.Įlleelle, is this the type of thing you started with? To describe what you learned, you also need to know what is commonly learned, for contrast. I would not have been able to come to this forum decades later, if I only had that background to rely on, to describe what I "learned". My original childhood diet of Czerny and Clementi created a feel for the structure of sonata-allegro form and standard cliche's in simplistic Classical era music, and left holes in a dozen other places. it left me able to do some things and not others. It reminds me in some ways of the Czerny that was passed on to me from my grandmother's stash when I was a child, except I'd been given an Intermediate level book as first book - sort of like the sample the OP shared with us.
#Beyer op 101 piano pdf free
I found a free copy of a Beyer preparatory book. I suspect that most people are as unfamiliar with "Beyer" as I was, so how can we assess where anything has gone. I'd go for Fundamental keys.Īnyway, just watching some YouTube video's and trying to play some too difficult pieces won't get you anywhere imho. There obviously are more method books out there but the two mentioned above are amongst the best regarded (Fundamental keys) and the most used (Alfred). I also don't like the focus on chord and the C key but well. A lot of people like (one of the many) methods from Alfred but personally I can't stand the mediocre tunes it uses. It is totally about classical music though. Http:/ / shop/ rachel-jimenez/ fundamental-keys-piano-method/ paperback/ product-6234280.html My favorite by far is Fundamental keys (not the one on Amazon but the complete one you can buy on Lulu). My advice: get a proper piano method book. The piece you posted is way too difficult if you are just starting to play the piano. First tip: play pieces that are at your level.
